FSA's Platinum Pro MegaQuad Bottom Bracket is light and stiff for efficient pedaling. It features two rows of sealed-cartridge bearings on each side to deliver silky-smooth spinning for years. The cold-forged aluminum cups and a titanium-nitride-coated spindle provide light weight and durability. Plus, the external seals keep water out and the composite anti-creak sleeve ensures you'll speed along in silence.
The first number in your bottom-bracket size (for example, the number 68 in the size 68 x 118) is the Shell Width, which must match your frame's bottom-bracket shell width. The second number (in our example, 118) is the Spindle Length (also called the axle), which must be compatible with your crankset. For example, a triple-chainring crankset typically requires a longer Spindle Length than a double model. Also, the bottom-bracket and frame threading must match (Italian- and English-threaded bottom brackets are not interchangeable).
